Apple CEO Steve Jobs Urges Everyone to Become Organ Donors

Last June, Mr. Jobs received a new liver from a young adult who died in a car accident. Today he stated that “I wouldn’t be here without such generosity.”

• In 2005, 44,000 grafts were made available for transplant by eye banks within the United States.

• According to research, 98% of all adults have heard about organ donation and 86% have heard of tissue donation.
